Biography

What's Up! I'm Mitch, known professionally as 'That One Mitch Kid.' As a professional photographer, pyrotechnician, entrepreneur, and mentor based in the Midwest, I've dedicated my career to capturing and creating moments in music, arts, and entertainment.

A 2011 honors graduate from The Institute of Production & Recording in Minneapolis, I discovered my passion for photography while studying Music, Arts & Entertainment Business. Since then, I've built an extensive portfolio featuring prominent bands, venues, and music festivals, photographing and interviewing countless musicians and artists along the way.

​

My entrepreneurial spirit led me to co-found Perfect Pour Magazine in 2015, celebrating Nebraska's craft beer culture, and launch Gallery Space Media in 2022, a music-centered media outlet. Currently, I'm embracing a new challenge as a non-traditional, first-generation student at the University of Nebraska-Lincoln's College of Business, pursuing a degree in AD/PR with a minor in Clifton Builders.
